In fine motor this week we have been creating peg snowflakes. They look beautiful and are sparkling up our classroom.
3P had a great time running in the 100, 200 and 800 meter races yesterday. We even had some people from our class make the relay teams and tug-o-war. Some of us are heading off to district next term, check out some of our action shots. Our term is flying by- here is a quick snapshot of what we have achieved! Aren't we wonderful!
In Science we have been looking at Night and Day so have been playing with shadows. It has been fun to explore what changes the time of day has on our outlines. Stella recently represented our school in the Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking competition in Milton. She did a wonderful job and we are very proud of her!
Congratulations 3P on all presenting some fantastic speeches in the last few weeks. Everyone put in a lot of effort and we are very proud of Amy W and Stella that presented their speeches to all of Stage 2. Stella will now travel to Milton to compete against some other schools. We wish her good luck and we are sure she will ace it!
Term 2 is flying by and we have been very busy in our class. We have started using GoNoodle in class which is a fun interactive way to keep our bodies active in the classroom but it also provides us with some wonderful mindfulness activities. It is also free and accessible from home.
Welcome back everyone to term 2. We have had a busy start to the term but have already enjoyed birthday cake from Felix and some class awards. This term we have welcomed a class pet to 3P- a Yabbie that we have affectionately named Nippy. He/she (we aren't sure) eats root vegetables and some of the students have already kindly bought in some treats for it to nibble on.
Reminder to please make sure if your child is absent that you contact to office/use absentee note on website or send a note in with your child once they return to school. Everyone did such a fantastic job on their Easter hats this year, well done 3P you all looked amazing!
Birthdays, awards, Harmony day and much more! The last few weeks we have been having a fantastic time in class. We have been working really hard and have achieved wonderful things. Lacey and Charley celebrated a birthday this month and we even got to share some delicious cakes!Awards Congratulations to our recent award winners- You have all worked super hard and deserved it! IndonesiaThis term we have been learning about Indonesia. We were very lucky because Mrs Morgan from 2M taught at the International School in Indonesia. She came into our room to show us some of the wonderful things she experienced while living there. Everyone enjoyed her visit so much and we really appreciated her visit to our class! Emma enjoyed it so much she made Mrs Morgan a present. Harmony Day
